OmniServer Supports Wonderware InTouch 10 and System Platform 3

September 5, 2007 – Charlotte, North Carolina. Software Toolbox Inc. announced today that its OmniServer Universal Device Integration software supports the new Wonderware InTouch 10 and System Platform 3 offerings announced today by Wonderware. 

OmniServer is an I/O Server that empowers the user to build their own device integration driver without programming to talk to various serial or Ethernet devices that do not already have drivers written. OmniServer saves users thousands of dollars when compared to writing custom drivers. Examples include bar code readers, weigh scales, bar code printers, and more. Several sample protocols are included in the package. No programming is required to use OmniServer. All configuration is done through a point-and-click user interface. Wonderware InTouch 10 users will find the familiar Suitelink interface in OmniServer a snap, and System Platform 3 users are free to choose OPC or Suitelink connections to OmniServer. OmniServer has been in continuous use in industry since 1995 with thousands of installations around the world.
